A Baby Story - Mia Mae

I have been a nervous wreck for at least a month now. Why?? Because one of my best friends, Johanna, asked me to photograph her very first baby's birth - and lives in Austin! That's like at least a 3 hour drive for me. I was so worried when the time would come, and Matt would call, that I wouldn't get there in time for her arrival. But, in the end, everything worked out perfect, and she was even born on a Saturday - which was 10 times better!! This day was full of memories that everyone in their lives will cherish forever. I am so happy that I got to be there to document every minute.

Cody + Casey - Part 1

I am HIGHLY embarassed to even mention when this wedding took place...so we will just say sometime late last year ;) I got a little behind on a few things, but I am finally caught up! Casey is a very good friend of mine from high school, and I was very honored when she asked me to photograph her wedding. The ceremony took place at her mom's lake house, and the weather couldn't have been more perfect! Little Mia Mae.

I had the honor of photographing one of my very best friends and fellow photographer's baby's birth on Saturday. It was yet another very emotional experience.
